Join Superintendent Sweet in the high school library on Thursday, January 26. The "chat" will begin at 6:00. Can't make it? Call the district office to set up a time to speak with the superintendent and have your questions answered.
Want to know what the levy funds? In addition to funding student activities such as music programs, athletics, and Camp Cispus, our levy provides funding for essential district staff that the state does not provide.
Ocosta Boys' Basketball is hosting our 1st Annual Alumni Wildcat Clash Friday, Dec. 30! Game starts at 5:30pm followed by a Spaghetti Feed. $8 for adults/$4 for 12 and under- cost gets you in the door and dinner. All proceeds go towards boys' basketball summer camp!!
Ocosta schools will be closed today due to road conditions throughout the district.
A no-cost childhood immunization clinic is taking place on Friday, December 16th, from 2-7pm at Central Elementary School in Hoquiam. Please see the attached images for more details.
The Ocosta School District will no longer have access to Covid-19 PCR testing. We will continue to have rapid testing available, as long as supplies last. Please contact the district office if you have any questions about Covid-19 testing.
The Ocosta School District will be running their Educational Programs and Operations levy in February of 2023. The board signed the resolution at the November 29, 2022 board meeting.
This is not a new tax, this is replaces the former levy, which the district runs every three years to pay for those items not covered by the state, including, but not limited to, text books, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, sports, field trips, teachers, para-educators and other materials needed for student success.
Ocosta School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to committees to write the “for” and “against” statements for the Local Voters’ Pamphlets for Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties related to the District’s Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy ballot measure to be considered by voters at the February 14, 2023 election. Those interested should send their name, address, phone number and which position they represent to: Heather Sweet, Superintendent, Ocosta School District, 2580 S. Montesano St., Westport, WA 98595 or via email at hsweet@ocosta.org by December 8, 2022.

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner tonight from 5:30-7:00 in the high school commons. This event is sponsored by the South Beach Ministerial Association. Donations of non-perishable foods will be taken at the door for the South Beach Food Bank.

Ocosta has officially launched "Rooms." Rooms is a chat feature, similar to Remind which was used last year.

Ocosta released "ROOMS" today. Please look for an email that will provide you with the login information to use parent-teacher chat feature on our school app. This will be replacing the Remind app.
